Choose one main journey

Fourteen calendar days include arrival, departure and movement. Start with one main focus: a suitable trek, a heritage-and-wildlife circuit, or a slower combination of Kathmandu and Pokhara. Adding Everest, Annapurna, Chitwan and Lumbini to the same short trip usually replaces experience with transfers.

Write the trip's purpose in one sentence and use it to remove competing ideas.

Framework A: city plus trek

Use Kathmandu for arrival tasks and cultural context, then commit the central block to one route whose duration includes access and descent. Return with contingency before the international flight. Pokhara pairs naturally with many Annapurna itineraries; Everest access has its own weather-sensitive flight logic.

Do not choose a trek from duration alone. Review altitude, terrain and personal suitability.

Framework B: heritage, hills and wildlife

A non-trekking structure might connect Kathmandu Valley, Pokhara and Chitwan, or substitute Lumbini according to interest. Count each intercity journey as a meaningful part of the day. Spend at least two nights where the desired experience depends on a full day.

Confirm the route direction against current transport rather than assuming a perfect triangle.

Protect the final days

Place the least replaceable connection before a buffer, not at the itinerary's edge. Keep one optional activity that can be removed if a road, flight or personal energy changes. Verify visa, transport, park and permit information shortly before departure.

This framework is deliberately editable. It does not reserve services or promise that every component operates on your dates.
