What makes a good pitch
Tell us the angle, the intended reader and what you can contribute that is specific and useful. We welcome grounded first-hand stories and well-sourced explanatory work. A focused story is more useful than a generic list assembled from other websites.
Originality and permissions
Submit original writing that you own or have permission to publish. Tell us about image rights, credits and any restrictions. Obtain appropriate consent for identifiable people where needed. Never copy another publication’s article or photographs.
Sources and transparency
Separate your experience from current practical claims. Include source notes and the dates of your experiences. Disclose hosted trips, gifts, commercial affiliations and relevant AI assistance. We review pitches before commissioning or publishing; submission alone creates no publication or payment commitment.
