AT A GLANCE
A little context.
A world of possibility.
Plan a Nepal journey across living heritage cities, Himalayan trekking regions and the wildlife-rich Terai.
A country of distinct journeys
Nepal stretches from the Terai plains to the high Himalaya, so a single trip can involve very different climates, travel times and styles of experience. Kathmandu Valley, Lumbini, Chitwan National Park and Sagarmatha National Park are Nepal's four UNESCO World Heritage properties. Pokhara is a major gateway to the Annapurna region, while Kathmandu is the principal international arrival hub.
Build the route around your priorities
Choose one or two anchors first: cultural heritage, a trek, wildlife, pilgrimage or time in the hills. Then add realistic transfer days. Mountain roads and flights can be affected by conditions, and a distance on a map does not establish a reliable journey time. Confirm transport directly for your dates.
Check requirements at source
Entry, protected-area and trekking requirements depend on nationality, route and current rules. Use Nepal's Department of Immigration, Nepal Tourism Board and the responsible protected-area authority before committing money. Basecamp24 provides planning context rather than permits, bookings or safety guarantees.
