Start with eligibility, not the queue
Nepal's Department of Immigration provides tourist-visa routes that include visa on arrival, applications through a Nepali mission and online services. Eligibility is not identical for every passport, and rules can change. Check the Department's current page for your nationality before buying a non-refundable journey around an assumption.
Use only official government domains for applications and payments. Save the submission reference and confirmation in a form you can access while travelling, but keep passport and payment details out of shared planning documents.
Prepare the arrival details
The official process asks for passport and travel information, the intended visa duration and an address in Nepal. Enter names and document numbers exactly as shown in the passport. Check passport-validity requirements with the authority and your carrier, since an airline can apply document checks before boarding.
Keep the immigration form, any payment evidence and onward itinerary organized together. A screenshot can help when connectivity is poor, but it does not replace the original document or current instructions at the entry point.
Allow time for the actual process
Arrival involves more than landing: disembarkation, form or kiosk steps where applicable, payment, immigration and baggage collection can all take time. Avoid planning a tight connection to a separate domestic flight or long road transfer based on the aircraft's scheduled arrival alone.
If a provider is meeting you, agree on a clear contact method and meeting point. Do not send full passport scans through an ordinary enquiry form unless a verified, necessary process explains how the data will be protected.
Recheck before departure
Visa fees, eligible nationalities, application channels and supporting requirements are changeable facts. Revisit the Department of Immigration shortly before travel and again if your passport, dates or entry point changes. A saved blog post is not evidence that a rule still applies.
