AT A GLANCE
A little context.
A world of possibility.
Agree on the important decisions early and leave room for different days.
Ask everyone three questions
What would make the trip worthwhile? What is the comfortable spending range? What is one thing they would rather avoid? Collect answers before circulating a detailed itinerary. Differences are easier to work with while the plan is still flexible.
Name the shared commitments
Agree which accommodation, transfers or activities need a joint decision. Make it explicit when people can choose separate plans. A shared trip does not require every person to spend every hour together. Put payment responsibilities and provider terms in writing before anyone pays on another person’s behalf.
Use one editable plan
Choose a single place for the current itinerary and appoint someone to keep it tidy. Include who is responsible for each unresolved item. Date significant updates so a stale screenshot does not become the working plan.
Keep private information private
Share only what the group needs to coordinate. Avoid putting passport data or personal health information into a group document. Our local itinerary tool is suitable for ordinary planning notes, not sensitive records or a shared live booking system.
